"When farmers come together, entire communities grow, prosper and create opportunities for future generations."
The story behind Gah Kisi Agribusiness
Meet Gibson Ternagai, Founder and Chairman of Gah Kisi Agribusiness, located in Dreikikier, East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea.
Gah Kisi Agribusiness is a community-based vanilla enterprise in East Sepik Province. We work with over 2,000 smallholder vanilla famers across 14 villages and 7 ward, producing premium vanilla tahitensis beans for local and international markets.
I started Gah Kisi to create better opportunities for rural families. By bringing farmers together, providing training, and focusing on quality to connect to better markets and build lasting economic opportunities for our communities.
What make our products special
Our vanilla is hand-pollinated and carefully cured using internationally recognised methods to ensure rich aroma, high quality and excellent moisture balance. We maintain full traceability from farm to market and meet export quality standards.
The Benefits
Every purchase support more than 2,000 farmers and 1,000+ households across 14 villages in East Sepik. The income helps families with school fees, healthcare, food security and builds strong, more sustainable communities.
Looking Forward
Our vision is to establish East Sepik as a leading source of premium vanilla while creating sustainable income opportunities for thousands of farming families in Papua New Guinea.
