About Pacific Buyz

Pacific Buyz is an Australian-based online marketplace connecting customers with products, apparel and stories from Papua New Guinea and across the Pacific.

We work with Pacific SMEs, makers, growers and cooperatives to create greater visibility and market access while giving customers the opportunity to discover the people and stories behind the products they buy.

No. Pacific Buyz brings together both products made in the Pacific and products inspired by Pacific culture and identity.

Our Pacific makers produce goods such as natural body-care products, agricultural products and handmade goods, while Bully n Rice is our Pacific-inspired streetwear and lifestyle brand. We aim to be clear about the origin and production of individual products in their descriptions.

Bully n Rice apparel and accessories are currently available through Pacific Buyz.

We are also working with Pacific makers including Pearl Body Scrubs, PNG Solardry and Gah Kisi Agribusiness to prepare selected products selected products for the Australian market. Their stories can already be explored through our Meet the Makers pages (Brands) while their products are being prepared.

Coming soon means we are working with that maker to prepare selected products for sale through Pacific Buyz.

This can include product readiness, Australian import and compliance requirements, packaging, logistics and establishing a suitable fulfilment pathway. We would rather introduce products carefully than rush them to market.

Bully n Rice

Bully n Rice or BnR is the flagship streetwear and lifestyle brand of Pacific Buyz.

Inspired by family, Pacific culture, food, humour and everyday connection, BnR creates apparel and accessories designed for people who want to carry that connection with them.

Bully n Rice is designed as a Pacific-inspired brand, but this does not mean every garment is manufactured in the Pacific.

Different products use different production and fulfilment partners, and manufacturing details can vary by item. Where relevant, country of manufacture, product specifications and care information are provided on the individual product page. Current product listings, for example, identify different garment manufacturers and countries of manufacture depending on the item.

Bully n Rice was created as the first brand within the Pacific Buyz marketplace.

It helps demonstrate how culture, storytelling and commerce can come together while supporting the growth of a marketplace designed to create greater visibility and opportunity for Pacific businesses, makers and communities.

Orders, Shipping & Delivery

We deliver throughout Australia, and selected products may also be available for international delivery.

Shipping availability can vary depending on the product and destination, so the best way to confirm your location is to enter your address during checkout. Current Bully n Rice listings provide tracked delivery throughout Australia and international shipping to selected Oceania destinations.

It depends on what you purchase.

Pacific Buyz works with different brands and fulfilment partners, so orders may be fulfilled from Australia or directly from a Pacifid Island partner, including Papua New Guinea.

Yes, this may happen as the Pacific Buyz marketplace grows.

Products from different brands or makers may be fulfilled from different locations. Where this occurs, your items may travel separately and arrive at different times.

Delivery time depends on the product, fulfilment location and destination.

Any delivery timeframe provided should be treated as an estimate. International orders can also be affected by customs processing, freight availability and other circumstances outside our control.

Where tracking is available for your order, tracking information will be provided once the order has been dispatched.

Current Bully n Rice products are dispatched with tracking for Australian deliveries.

Australian customers ordering products already cleared for sale through Pacific Buyz should see applicable order and shipping charges through checkout.

For international purchases, customs duties, taxes or import charges may apply depending on the destination. Any such charges imposed by the destination country are separate from the product price unless otherwise stated.

Returns, Changes & Problems with Orders

Pacific Buyz currently has a 30-day return policy. To be eligible, the item generally needs to be unused or unworn, with its tags and original packaging, together with proof of purchase.

Before returning anything, please contact us so we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Yes. Certain products cannot normally be returned, including perishable goods, personalised or custom made items, personal care or beauty products, sale items and gift cards.

Please contact us if you are unsure about a particular product.

Please contact Pacific Buyz as soon as possible after receiving your order.

Include your order details and, where possible, photographs showing the issue so we can assess what has happened and help resolve it. Your current refund policy asks customers to report damaged, defective or incorrect items promptly.

Contact us as soon as possible.

We will do our best to help, but once an order has entered production or fulfilment we may not be able to change or cancel it.

Once an eligible return has been received and approved, the refund is returned to the original payment method within 10 businesses days, although the customer's bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the transaction.

Our Pacific Makers

Pacific Buyz is beginning with a small number of businesses from Papua New Guninea alongside our Bully n Rice brand.

Our current maker stories include Pearl Body Scrubs, PNG Solardry and Gah Kisi Agribusiness, with more Pacific businesses intended to join the marketplace over time.

Because Pacific Buyz is designed to connect customers with more than a finished product.

We want customers to understand who created or grew the product, where it comes from and the business or community behind it. The Meet the Makers (Brand) pages allow those stories to remain part of the product journey rather than disappearing once something reaches a shelf.

When you purchase a product supplied by a Pacific maker, your purchase creates a direct commercial opportunity for that business.

More broadly, Pacific Buyz is being built to provide greater visibility and market access for Pacific SMEs, growers and cooperatives. Bully n Rice also contributes to growing the wider Pacific Buyz marketplace and its purpose.

Partnering with Pacific Buyz

We are interested in hearing from Pacific small businesses, cooperatives, farmers, producers, creators and makers whose products and values align with the Pacific Buyz marketplace.

Our partnership process includes an initial conversation followed by a product and readiness review. This allows us to understand where your business is now and what may need to be addressed before a product can be offered to Australian customers.

Products must ultimately meet any applicable Australian import, product, safety, labelling and other regulatory requirements before they can be sold through the marketplace.

We are looking for businesses and organisations that care about quality, authenticity, sustainable growth and their connection to community.

Being open to learning, improving and building for the long term is more important to us than trying to grow quickly.

Payments & General Questions

Australian customers can shop in Australian dollars (AUD). The Pacfiic Buyz website also provides a country and region selector for supported international markets.

Available payment methods will be shown securely during checkout.

Because Pacific Buyz is currently operated by Pacific Pivotz Pty Ltd, a payment may appear on your bank or PayPal statement under Pacific Pivotz Pty Ltd.
